For years, flowers have given me a way to create, tell stories and transform spaces. But if you know me, you know my love for beautiful things has never stopped at flowers.
I've always paid attention to the details.
The shape of a vessel. The weight of a glass. An interesting piece of art. The texture of a package. The way a plant changes a room. Even the experience of opening a beautifully presented piece of chocolate.
Those details have always mattered to me, and they're becoming a bigger part of what Marqueé Home represents.
This next chapter is about bringing more of that world together.
Marqueé Home is expanding into a carefully selected collection of home objects, vessels, self-care, fragrance, specialty goods, plants, flowers and unexpected finds that reflect the way I believe we should live: surrounded by things that are useful, beautiful and worth keeping.
I've Always Loved Quality
My appreciation for quality started long before I had a business.
Even when I was younger, I was particular about the things I bought. I noticed brands, materials, presentation and craftsmanship. I wanted to understand why one thing felt special while another didn't.
As I've gotten older, that appreciation has become less about a name and more about how something is made, how it feels and whether it has staying power.
That perspective is at the center of Marqueé Home.
I don't want to fill the store with products just because they fit into a category. I want to find pieces that make me stop and look twice.
A smoky glass vessel with beautiful imperfections.
A sculptural object that feels almost like a piece of art.
A beautifully packaged chocolate that you're just as excited to give as you are to eat.
A fragrance that becomes part of the feeling of your home.
These are the details I want Marqueé to be known for.
A Home Should Feel Collected
I love interiors that don't look like everything was purchased at the same time.
My own approach to design mixes contemporary pieces with vintage influences, art, plants, natural materials and objects I've collected simply because I loved them.
I think the most interesting homes have contrast.
Something polished beside something imperfect. A modern table underneath a piece of art with history. A beautiful vessel filled with flowers one week and left completely empty the next.
Not everything needs to match.
It just needs to make sense together.
That idea will influence the products you'll begin seeing from Marqueé Home.
Objects With More Than One Purpose
One thing I'm especially excited about is introducing more vessels and decorative objects.
As a florist, I've always understood how much the container changes the entire experience of flowers. But a great vessel shouldn't become useless once the flowers are gone.
Use it again.
Put branches in it.
Place it on your bookshelf.
Move it to your bathroom.
Let it sit empty on a console because the shape and color are beautiful enough on their own.
I want Marqueé pieces to continue living in your home long after the original reason you purchased them.
That, to me, is good design.
Even the Small Things Matter
Marqueé Home will also move into areas that may feel unexpected.
Self-care. Fragrance. Specialty chocolates and treats. Beautifully designed everyday goods. Pieces for entertaining and gifting.
Why?
Because home is bigger than décor.
It's what you smell when you walk through the door.
It's what you put on your skin.
It's the flowers sitting on your table.
It's the chocolate you bring out when friends come over.
It's the beautiful object you bought years ago that somehow keeps finding a place in every home you move into.
All of those things contribute to how we experience our spaces.
And I want Marqueé to exist somewhere within that experience.
And Yes, There Will Always Be Flowers
Expanding Marqueé Home doesn't mean leaving flowers behind.
Quite the opposite.
Flowers now become part of a much larger conversation.
I can create the arrangement, but I can also think about the vessel holding it. The table underneath it. The objects surrounding it. The fragrance in the room. The gift you're pairing with it.
That freedom is exciting to me.
After more than a decade in the floral industry, I don't want to limit my creativity to one category.
I want to create an entire world around it.
What's Coming
Over the coming months, you'll begin seeing this new direction take shape.
Some products will be designed specifically for Marqueé. Others will be carefully sourced because of their craftsmanship, story, materials or simply because I believe they deserve a place in the collection.
You can expect distinctive vessels, home objects, fragrance, self-care, plants, flowers, specialty treats, gifts and other pieces that make everyday spaces feel more considered.
But I don't want Marqueé Home to become a store filled with everything.
I want it to become a destination for specific things chosen well.
There's a difference.
This Is Only the Beginning
Marqueé Home is still evolving, and I think that's part of what makes this moment exciting.
You're watching the brand become what I've imagined it could be.
A place where flowers can sit beside art.
Where something functional can also be beautiful.
Where contemporary design can live beside something vintage.
Where quality matters more than quantity.
And where the things we bring into our homes are chosen because they add something to the way we live.
There is much more coming.
And I can't wait for you to see it.
Welcome to the new Marqueé Home.
